Based in Design : On a Budget

Are you ready for the upcoming long weekend? We definitely are here in the office!

Today, we are featuring a Pottery Barn inspiration photo in the On a Budget blog!  This image links directly to all of their products in the room, in case you are curious about one. But, we have sourced items that are similar and much more budget friendly!  All of these products featured can be purchased through Based in Design, even the Pottery Barn ones!  So if you’re searching for that perfect piece, make sure you respond to this blog post here, or at the end of the blog post to purchase or ask additional questions.

Say hello to Pottery Barn’s Seabury Marietta Living Room.  It’s chic, a tad bit bohemian, with hints of coastal in the colors and the aesthetic.  Let’s figure out how to get this look on aBased in Design budget!

The focal point of this room is definitely the bright couch.  We found this great option that comes in a ton of colors!  It’s customizable, and we can even ship out fabric swatches for you to feel at a good price point.  There’s nothing better than getting to touch and see your fabric before purchasing a big ticket item.  Best part?  It reclines!

Hidden in the back corner, you can spot the most gorgeous and intricate mirror. We love adding natural elements into every design created, including a wood frame like this one.

Two major light fixtures are implemented into this space.  Following, we found options at a much better price point! Bringing the same shapes back into the space with the looped pendant chandelier, making that boho look pop.

The media console in this living room is tucked away in the corner, and is actually used in more of a sideboard functionality.  Keeping this in mind, we sourced a media console with the bohemian coastal feel to compare.

Lastly, you can’t go wrong with some fun patterned textiles in a room like this!  Instead of the dated floral pillows, we decided to bring more of a coastal air to the coloring with some faded out blue patterned options.

For the items we sourced from this room, a customer would pay $6890 at Pottery Barn. But at Based in Design, you receive one-on-one customer service that you work with as well as a great budget price of: $3284.  That’s less than half of their price!

We would love to hear what you think!  Have an image that you would love us to source budget friendly items for? Hashtag it on Instagram with #bidbudget or email the image to hello@basedindesign.com to be featured in our blog! Have a fabulous Fourth of July weekend!
